Select the File Save Window As option to save your map view to an image file.
You will likely get the best results by chosing the .WMF option rather than
BMP or JPG (I can't recall if GIF is an option)
Layout windows will not save WYSIWYG, nether will map Views but they will
be better than Layouts. You will likely need to bump up the size of any
text, labels, point symbols, and also increse any line thickness.
