I have experienced the same problem. We use NT for the local network and
W95 on the PCs and a similar problem occurs occasionally when a Paradox
data table which has single user access only has been used over the
network. After closing the app. which uses it, it cannot be accessed when
the app. is launched by another user, saying that the table is locked. It
has to be released before the app. can be used. So it seems it is a NT
fault not MapInfo...
