I have seen crashes on linux lately due to old libxml2 versions when loading a
map, what libxml2 version are you running?
It should be 2.7.6. Maybe I should also compile out the mapnik lib
rather than using the one from binary release. That could be quite a
pain, since the scons seems not quite helpful or portable on windows
platform.
