I've submitted a MapServer workshop outline to FOSS4G Europe - https://talks.osgeo.org/foss4g-europe-2024-workshops/talk/review/VCKADWEN3W837QNRQW8QJHYVMVPAXYME as the deadline is this Sunday. Other projects have created sponsorship pages along with budgets to be submitted to the OSGeo board. Examples are OpenLayers [1], degree [2], GeoServer [3], and GeoTools [4]. I've drawn heavily from these examples to create a similar page for MapServer at https://github.com/MapServer/MapServer/wiki/MapServer-2024-Sponsorship-Opportunities We have a "Sponsors" link on GitHub, but MapServer is not listed as a project requesting financial assistance at https://github.com/sponsors/OSGeo. Does anyone have the permissions to ass MapServer to this page? Steve - as chair of the PSC are you best placed to submit the budget request to the board via the mailing list? Would it also be appropriate to send the sponsorship page link to the mapserver-users list (please feel free to make edits first).
