I also experience this exact problem and I also think it is a bug in Maptitude, not a driver problem.  In my experience, it corresponds with the mapt.exe process continuing to run after Maptitude is closed.  In other words, the Print button on a particular layout stops working so you close Maptitude.  Before restarting, look at the Processes tab in Task manager and I think you will see mapt.exe is still running.  Other than killing the mapt.exe process and restarting, I haven't found another workaround.

Try to click another button or menu, then click again on printing button. This is a Bug, and Caliper will solve it as soon as possible.
