I trust the margins on the paper are not causing the problem or if you
print it on an 11x17 sheet you have the same results?
If you put a scale on the printout does that also appear incorrect?
If you print from Maptitude does the same problem appear or only when
printing to (from) a .PDF?
When printing from the .PDF. it isn't set to fill the page or set to
print as image?
Also I have seen printers that reduce the size of a print, similar to a
fax machine, to fit the image to the paper.
My bet is on that the .PDF isn't reproducing exactly, making the
printout a bit small. On some of my conversions I seen Text disappear
or spread across the whole page.

Maptitude creates a page size of 8.05 inches by 11.05inches, which
doesn't provide me with any confidence in my scale using Maptitude;
actually it equates to an error of 416 plus feet, which is unacceptable
even at 1:100,000.
Normally I use a precision of 100th
of an inch in my paper sizing but truncated to something more
measurable within Maptitude by using 10th of an inch instead. I'm using
ADOBE PDF writer 5.0 but am able to repeat the error using cutePDF as
well. Does anyone know if the folks at Caliper are aware of this or if
I'm overlooking the obvious?
