Hi R., Thanks for the tip! This is a hard question to answer because everyone learns at a different speed, but do you think I will need a year's worth of tech support? It's about $100 extra beyond the cost of the upgrade. I think I get 3 months free so that might be enough. I am an artist by training and I am naturally visual so I think I may learn this fairly fast. I didn't learn much about the first version we bought. My husband mostly used it. I liked that you called this version "robust and intuitive". That's the first time I've heard anyone describe a softwars as "robust". :-) Carol
