When I output the map to .png, I can open it and see that only one
legend appears. So far, so good. Now here's an ignorant question: how
do I insert such a map into a Word file or into PowerPoint? When I try
to 'Insert Object' in Word I can open and edit the map but cannot figure
how to implant it in the file.

Thanks, Susan
