The map editing tool should definitely not crash when you edit a file.
First, make sure you have a valid copy of TransCAD. A couple of years ago
we had unconfirmed reports of a hacked version that would crash and lead to
database corruption.
If this is happening with a valid copy you can contact Caliper's technical
support for TransCAD ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).
