Fellow Maptituders, Did you ever need to get the heading of a freehand line? Yeah, me neither. But Chris Wagner asked for it quite some time ago (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Maptitude/message/2037) and it sounded like a good challenge. Plus, I do occasionally want to know the length of a freehand line, so why not kill two birds with one stone?
My new Azimuth add-in finds the azimuth and length of a freehand line. It will also give you the coordinates of the start and end of the line (and if desired, it will create temporary labels onscreen to let you know which is which). You may download this utility at the Directions Magazine website (http://www.directionsmag.com/files/download/142076). It is Free and Open Source (GPLv3 license). ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
