TOP STORY - PBS Kids Sprout said Cox Communications agreed to 
carry its 24-hour network and video-on-demand content aimed at 
preschool-aged children. Cox joins other operators carrying the 
channel, including Comcast, Insight and RCN. The Cox arrangement will 
bring PBS Kids Sprout to more than 18 million committed subscribers.

of the MSO's total footprint --- Ferris Baker Watts initiated coverage of 
OpenTV with a "buy" rating --- Needham and Co. downgraded Scientific-
Atlanta from "strong buy" to "hold."
