TOP STORY - CBS unveiled an initiative enabling wireless phone users 
to obtain news and entertainment alerts that include video and pictures. 
The alerts, called "CBS News TO GO" and "ET TO GO," will be available 
beginning next week for monthly fees of 99 cents and $3.99, 
respectively. Wireless phone users will receive up to five alerts daily 
and have the option to read text and, if their mobile phone allows, see 
matching pictures and video, the broadcaster said.

Cisco completed its acquisition of Scientific-Atlanta --- Cablevision 
posted strong fourth quarter results, including Operating income of 
$212.8 million. At the end of 2005, the MSO's basic customer count was 
3.026 million, digital cable subscribers were at 1.962 million, high-speed 
data at 1.694 million, and voice customers at 731,341 --- DirecTV 
agreed to purchase 100 million shares of its common stock, at $15.50 
per share in cash, from various GM pension plans --- Verizon CFO 
Doreen Toben said the company intends to repurchase $1 billion in 
shares in 2006 --- here! announced a carriage agreement with cable 
operator Atlantic Broadband for full linear premium channel carriage. 
The channel will be offered in Miami Beach and surrounding 
communities.
