business with its government and corporate unit to cut costs and win 
new clients.  The network unit sells equipment that runs mobile phone 
networks and the other business sells wireless gear to government and

Former Qwest executive Marc Weisberg pleaded guilty to wire fraud and 
was sentenced by a federal judge to 60 days of house arrest and fined 
$250,000 --- Yahoo! said it's dropping plans for delivering TV-like 
content to consumers --- AOL plans to sell programming on its Web site 
by the middle of this year, as it tries to secure a place in the video–on–
demand over the Internet market, according to a top executive --- 
AT&T announced a new contract with Gutherie Public Schools in 
Oklahoma to deliver Customized Switched Metro Ethernet and dedicated 
Internet access --- The Federal Communications Commission report on 
pay-TV competition, a summary of which was released in February, is
