It is a total shame that they are doing this. What next are they going
to request all that are connected to the LibreOffice community that to
stop being part of the OOo community? Those that are working on the
Documentation project can not be connected to the LibO documentation
project? What about the Distribution Project members? Can't offer
both? What about the user support from the community members, not be
allowed on mailing list for both projects.
I totally agree. It's a shame to see that only one specific group out of
the community forces us to make a decision, while the others either
don't care/see any problem, or support our step. That's sad to hear, and
that has nothing to do with a community, if one group can force the
other...
I don't want to repeat myself, so please have a look at the mail I sent
to the d...@native-lang OOo list:

In short: None of the Oracle people is allowed to force any community
member to retreat nor remove any of their roles.
There have been general rules established in the OpenOffice.org project
for such actions - mainly based on votes inside the relevant projects or
decisions at the Community Council with a common agreement of the nine
other members if one of them should be removed.
Everything else would prove Oracle not to respect the OpenOffice.org
community - I'm not quite sure which way they want to go...
Best regards
