Yes, from what I did understand (by the messages in the
#dcoumentfoundation irc channel at the time, the
("jump-in/replacement") conference manager did have problem with the
German confmanager-webinterface and didn't manage to change back from
the accidentally activated lecture mode to conference mode/could not
unlock the room for participants.
