So - I am simply asking if the hour long conversation that took place
between the three of us was recorded.
just checked - it looks like there indeed is a recording. Shall we
upload it somewhere?
Of course - to the wiki as the recoding of the meeting, just because
there was a technical glitch doesn't mean it, the meeting, didn't
happen.

Well, we should really define "meeting". If the room is closed to all
others, and there are only 3 members in the room, I myself would not
consider this as enough of a quorum to consider it a meeting. There were
2 of us on IRC asking where the meeting was occurring with no answer
from the people meeting in the Talkyoo room -- we were on the IRC
channel for approximately 20 minutes. In this case I would call it more
of a "discussion" but where no decisions should be taken. We really need
to define a quorum for our meetings. We usually number around 5-6
regular members who meet monthly and with 1-2 people who occasionally
sit on the sidelines.
In this case, as it could not be considered a meeting due to these
circumstances,I don't think we need to make the notes or recording made
official on our marketing meeting wiki page. IMO, we really need to meet
in an open and transparent manner to consider it an official meeting.
It's OK to make note of it on the marketing mailing list to inform the
members, but not to make it look like an official marketing team
meeting, which is was not -- members were locked out. If there are
issues that were discussed and a decision is needed, then we need to
re-discuss it with all members who wish(ed) to attend contributing to
the discussion and decision.
