Hello Keironne , Thanks for writing and volunteering. The first thing you should do is subscribe to our mailing list. This is how the marketing team collaborates, by the marketing mailing list. To subscribe you should send an email to [email protected]. This will generate a confirmation email. Once you respond to the confirmation email then you will be subscribed. (And this is the same for all new volunteers -- please subscribe to the mailing list !) What have you studied in Business School? New marketing volunteers are introducing themselves every day. So I think we'll wait a few more days and then start a discussion on this list on what we want to do next. Other parts of the project, like development, or support or QA, have well-defined workflows that they execute on. They have a predefined set of tasks that they need to do. With Marketing we have more flexibility. We could decide to start a new social media campaign. We could review the website for brand consistency. We could plan some events, write a whitepaper, do webinar, make a Youtube video or a podcast. Some of volunteers are interested in the creative side of marketing -- logo designs, etc. Others are focused on the social side. And some, like me, are interested in hard data about users and market share, and developing a marketing strategy based on that. We all bring different things to the table.
