Hi Robert,
We have not come across this before since not many people we are aware
of would store HTML data in the database. if you need an out-link, you
can do it using MartEditor (e.g ensembl gene id as you mentioned). I
guess what might have affected this is the difference in communication
on MartView page i-e 0.6 onwards, its AJAX driven, hence the whole page
isnt rendered anymore. Going back to the point of having HTML data in
database, it may make sense for HTML formatter, however how would the
users interpret this using TSV, CSV etc formatters ?
Best,
Syed

Hi Syed,
We will probably wait until release of 0.8. Unfortunately, we don't have
budget to do testing on 0.7, although I imagine the same thing would
happen. Has this come up before? Was there a change in the layout of the
HTML output during 0.6?
Thanks, Robert

Re: [mart-dev] http links in Biomart HTML output
Hi Robert,
the best is to test this on 0.7 if you do have intentions of installing
0.7 anyways.
Cheers
