To be clear, they're the same thing. However, I'm not convinced by your point, and I'd still have no objections to claiming the title as my own. If the US government provided valuable assistance, like medical care on an industrial scale, to some foreign army, would any of us say, "Well, that's not help-help"? I think not. As for Michael's comparison with Palestinians, it's hardly substantial enough to merit commentary. Israel is the occupying power, and pressure from the international community forces it to make some meager allowances for the welfare of Palestinians under its control, including advanced health care not available in the '67 territories. However, it rarely misses an opportunity to slough these responsibilities onto the UN, the PA, the EU, or pretty much anyone else. It certainly doesn't seek out new ways to make itself "helpful," as it has in the Golan. -- "Hige sceal þe heardra, heorte þe cenre, mod sceal þe mare, þe ure mægen lytlað." _________________________________________________________ Full posting guidelines at: http://www.marxmail.org/sub.htm Set your options at: http://lists.csbs.utah.edu/options/marxism/archive%40mail-archive.com
