I'm acquainted with Ben Dangl. In fact, I attended the book launch in Burlington, Vermont for "Dancing with Dynamite" just the other night. He said something to the effect that it was good to have states that provided support for social movements but that social movements should be on their guard and not cease whatever they're doing because a "progressive" government comes to power.
