When I sent on this passage it was hardly wit the intention of converting Marxists to Christianity. On the questions of Jesus and, better, on the notion of God I am decidedly agnostic. It is far beyond my capabilities to argue for or against such matters. If any can give guidance (proof) on these matters (especially as to the latter) I most anxiously await their posting. I forwarded this selection to comrades in the spirit (no pun intended) of the manner in which I have used the citation in discussions with mainly Christian, non socialist, non-Marxist, non-anarchists, i.e. the average person in this place at this time. "From each..." has a long and gloried history ( https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_each_according_to_his_ability,_to_each_according_to_his_need ) appearing long before Marx inserted it into his Critique of the Gotha Program ( https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1875/gotha/ch01.htm ) and it has been a truism down to this day that it has been a powerful tool in confronting prejudice, in this time that means, Christian anti-socialism. So take it in whatever the fckn way you wanna take it.
