We may have reason to hope that Trump sticks around for a while. As long as he
is active, he is a barrier to anyone else seeking to lead the Republicans.
Think of Paul Ryan who stepped aside so he could come back in later,
unencumbered by an association with Trump.
Keep in mind that Trump is mid 70’s and in poor physical condition. He may not
be fit to run in 2024, if he lives that long.
I hope is he active for 3 or 4 more years, to make things difficult for the
Republicans
