And the other danger from Trump is that he has created a ROAD MAP for the
next fascist to steal the next election --- If he escapes unpunished (the
way Biden is leaning) there will be no stopping the next fascist --- After
all, the reason Trump wasn't reelected was his total failure to attack the
coronavirus head on ---- he actually might have been telling the truth that
we were "rounding the corner" if he had acted forcefully --- but he was too
stupid to do it, focusing instead on ginning up the stock market earlier
rather than later --- so we lucked out --

If Biden imitates Obama he will lose Congress in 2022 --- only a vigourous
strong effort to CLEANSE the country of Trumpism which requires VERY STRONG
action to help people and EXPOSE and DEFEAT (in public opinion) the right
wing agenda --- which shouldn't be goddam hard if the stupid "centrists"
would stop playing by the twice defeated playbook (Clinton, Obama) -- only
such a set of policies backed by the same mobilization that actually
elected Biden (thinking particularly of the mobilizations in Georgia and
Arizona --- we should not underestimate the organizing that has been going
on in both of those states over the past bunch of years ---- in Georgia by
Stacey Abrams and her allies and in Arizona by the people APPALLED by
Sheriff Arpaio {sp?] and his xenophobic racist policies)-=- only such a set
of (admittedly far from revolutionary) policies will let Biden actually
accomplish things in his four years and even regain the Senate in 2022 (if
Georgia does not "break" Democratic in January).

I wouldn't bet on our side of the choices the AMerican people will be
making over the next bunch of years --- but of course that doesn't mean we
give up --- even almost certain loss is not a reason to give up ---

(this is where I came in with my Clinton book -- which is available for
free on line finally!)
