Not to nit-pick, Roger, but nothing I said resembles in any way the 
propositions that your cited piece purports to refute.  Not nohow, not no way.

If you are going to use an ahistorical definition of fascism, what is the 
point?  All such definitions are stipulative.  99 out of 100 people who 
identify as "left"  say "fascism" because they expect the second coming of 
Hitler.  When Trump turns out not to be Hitler they don't know what to think, 
what to fight, or how to fight.  That is one reason why some of us deprecate 
"fascist"-slinging as a first line of defense against bad guys.
