Just out of curiosity. In the Penguin edition of Capital volume 1 (the Ben
Fowkes translation), in the Einzelne Seiten of the 'Results' appendix appears
the followiing. 'Since money is the transformed shape of the commodity it does
not reveal what has been transformed into it: whether conscience or virginity
or horse dung.)' (p. 1073) Here
(<https://www.marxists.org/deutsch/archiv/marx-engels/1863/resultate/seiten.htm>),
'Erdäpfel' is potatoes, not 'horse dung'.
Anyone have any idea what happened here?
