DSA leaders?

But I do get your point here.  Over the course of the last half century and
change, I think we've seen some choice opportunities slip right through our
fingers.  How you can have an issue like BLM that should be able to
mobilize tens of thousands on a regular basis and not generally get more
than fractions is just the most recent indication.  If you can't keep women
in the streets protesting Trump, what does that mean?  Yes, the Democrats
took charge of that, but they didn't really have any opposition in
demobilizing people.  Ditto with Occupy.  And if you can't get people not
to vote for a "new" Democrat like Biden, what can we manage?   Not even
weekly forums or even monthly.

How did the Left become "pathetic"?  One self-preoccupied step at a time.

So, yes, here we are with 73% of the Republicans blaming the January 6
assault on the Capitol on the Left.  That's Reichstag fire territory.  Not
saying that conditions are pushing the country to fascism, but the
ideological foundations of it are there.

And what are we in a position to do?
