I would say that the Supreme Court's majority does not represent the majority of the ruling class. The Supreme Court is the most supremely undemocratic institution within the constitutional system of the United States. It has been captured by the right wing of the Republican Party, i.e. Trump and Trump's allies. They do not want Trump to go to jail, and prefer that he be elected rather than Biden. Their "constitutional" arguments are shallow, superficial and inconsistent, and their political motivations are self-evident. This is not the first time that the Supreme Court has been captured by one or another minority faction of the ruling class, but that just magnifies how reactionary, dangerous and antidemocratic this recent decision is.
