"The main enemy is at home". It is very interesting, and calls for more research and reflection, that Liebknecht apparently also opposed, and exposed, (Reichstag, 7th April 1916) the support given by Germany to Roger Casement who was attempting to recruit an Irish brigade among Irish prisoners of war.
