Mark, I totally agree about the Clinton and Obama administrations --- (I even wrote about both) ---
THAT is why I really do think that the Biden Administration policies are a departure --- one interesting example --- The head of the FTC Lina Kahn has freaked out the corporate dems who are demanding Harris fire her. THe fact that BIDEN appointed someone like that is a departure from the neoliberalism of CLinton and Obama --- ditto for the NLRB appointments --- and if Harris wins, the progressive wing of the party has to mobilize to put a lot of pressure on her NOT to fire Kahn, etc. the willingness NOT to "worry" about the deficit increase as a result of the American Rescue Plan also is a departure from neo-liberalism --- The PRO act is another move away from the ignoring of the labor movement (when Wisconsin fought back against Gov. Walker's "union stripping" bills --- Obama was silent --- he didn't lift a finger to help the fight back --- Biden walked a picket line ---) Biden and Harris are TERRIBLE on foreign policy --- but aside from Stein and West, NOBODY is particularly good --- though Bernie says some good things -- IF we succeed to beating back Trump and Harris is elected, it will be imperative for those of us on the left to begin to pressure the new Harris Administration to pull back from support for Genocide Bibi --- My $.04 (inflation effect!)
