No one mentions the fact that in Dec of 1978 Vietnam invaded Cambodia to get rid of the genocidal Pol Pot regime. The invasion by China was *primarily* meant to stymie the influence of having BEATEN U.S. Imperialism and their puppet regime. The Kmer Rouge were proxies for China and once the Vietnamese smashed them to the cheers of the Cambodian people, China, it appears, was quite pissed.
