"anyone else associated with the DP"--the answer to that is two parts: 1) no 2) never happen. First (2). Really, we need to get back to events that are likely to happen, and if the DP is involved, they are going to appeal and solely to the police--and they'll want the police to keep "my organization" away from the demonstration. Now (1)--see (2). If DSA separate and apart from the DP wanted to work on a united defense formally--that's a horse of a different color, and to accomplish that DSA would have to agree to platform time and the opportunity for its "partner" to weigh in on the other elements of the demonstration. Being hired muscle is not united front.
