Hi David, I think you misquoted Achcar: "The first, he said, is to lead a good
part of Israeli society to split from the ideology and path of Zionism." It was
a strategy and not about current realities. But how will there ever be a "Free
Palestine" without the involvement of a critical number of people living in
Israel? That's another thing that is wrong with Hamas's strategy. Their tactics
have pushed back the possibility of any such alliance between anti-Zionist in
Israel and Palestinians for at least a generation.
