You misquote me, Ioannis. I wrote of murder, not fondness. Ebert was never fond of Luxemburg or Liebnecht, for example, but the issue is that he had them murdered. So should I refuse to talk to or debate with US DSA members today? I think Stalin murdered Bukharin along with most of the living Old Bolsheviks plus Trotsky. I never suggested we should "celebrate" or "justify" anything. Putting that language into my mouth is a debating trick. What I said is that this is a place to develop and document positions rather than melt like a snowflake when faced with outrageous arguments. I have read Charles for years, debated with him, and documented my opinion of Furr and his other sources in our public archive. So if someone on the Internet is interested in the various Marxist positions on the Moscow Trials, the marxmail archive can serve as a source for the various critiques.
