The US could rob Israel of a future at rhe stroke of a pen. Israel can do nothing of the sort to the US. Israel milks the US's need of Israel as a destabilizing presence in the Middle East and acts with an element of independence. That is in no way the same as controlling the US or "push[ing] Trump into" a war he didn't want.
