I think the large middle class with its veneration of education is profoundly disillusioned. However the movement lost its peak stride the moment the reforms (including a substitution of education minister by another vicious BJP figure) were accepted. It will be uphill to rebuild, I think. It will happen but all hinges on how effectively an on-going apparatus can be built. H
