First, we can note that "those seeking to discredit today's young radicals" argue against themselves. On one hand, they tell us that DSA'ers are privileged in education and income; on the other hand, Kang here observes that DSA's are the low fifth of college graduates, by income. Now on to Gandall's stupidity. The fact that I put in bold emphasis is that a swath of DSA members earn much less than other college graduates make today. The facts are comparative of income and education today. Gandall compares of his college generation at young adulthood versus today's college generation at young adulthood.
