Worth a listen is a four-hour two part interview with Molly Crabapple on Jacobin Radio's podcast The Dig. She's informative and articulate in an f-bombing kind of way and her anti-Lenin, anti-Bolshevik, animus referred to in Flakin's excellent review is very apparent. She attributes Trotsky's distance from the Yiddish-speaking nation in the Pale of Settlement to his having been born to "the only Jewish kulak family in the empire." :)
