Abraham, this is still a deflection from my question. This is a Marxist list and thus using *objective* criteria ought to at least be included. I totally reject using the Nazi methodology of genocide to "identify" a "Jewish Nation/People". It is entirely, without question a false legal framework for genocide. It is, without question, totally and absolutely Eurocentric.
This is the problem you have articulated for years here by failing to provide an objective set of criteria for all Jews everywhere. You also codify the antisemitic and Zionist concept of "The Other", that is that all Jews are necessarily defined by nationality not in the place they reside. Thus you deny MY identity as an American in the U.S. Most U.S. Jews would reject you academic understanding of being Jewish in the U.S. (and I dare say, Mexico and Canada as well). Jews in these countries by any objective standard of the broad based nationality that defines those nations. If you ask what their nationality is, they will reply as "Canadian", "American", "Mexican". Yes, if you ask their "ethnic background" they will reply "Jewish" but it never their primary identification and objectively they are telling the truth. Only Zionists and anti-semites would deny this so as to set all those of Jewish heritage for cultural and political segregation...as "The Other".
