Revision 15908 contains optimizations for Linux as follows;
- Single script handles -start -stop -debug, without calling any other shell
script.
- Patches directory probed accurately.
- VM optimizations added, assuming a minimum system RAM of 1GB. The
optimization options handle the 'PermGen' allocations, defaulting to 256MB.
