Is ipv4_forwarding turned on?
You might want to check, I think in redhat, the location to check is
/etc/sysconfig/network, or just cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward if it
returns 0, it's off, to turn it on, echo "1"
/proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward. I'd also suggest swaping your cables
around, it's more "HOWTO" friendly, to have your outside interface eth0,
and internal interface eth1.
Other than that, what are your masq rules?
