what do you mean? do you mean my routing table? i used the kernel-2.2 script
in the masq-howto, edited for my system.

i am sure that all of the modules necessary are available and the hardware link
is good throughout my setup. i can reach the net from eth1 on the linux box,
an i can ping eth0 on my linux box from a workstation on the lan, but i can't
ping the internet from a workstation on the lan. i think the problem is the
configuration of my external nic interface (eth1), not a lan workstation
config.
should my nic to the internet (eth1) show two ips when i look using ifconfig -
i.e., a static internal (or lan address) and a dynamic external? if so, how do
i route (or bridge) between the two? eth0 seems to talk to eth1 automatically,
i guess because it's the same machine and some sort of routing is going on.
