Dunno if my question sounds too stupid...anyway...I got IP Masq
working, a linux box, with 2 other win95/linux machines.
connection to the net at 44,000bps (bad phone lines)...
So what MTU/MRU should I set my ppp interface to be? I know it varies
from different computers and testing is required.....but can anyone
pls give me some starting point? Should I got from 1500 and reduce it
down (by how much) or start from 296 and increase it?
And what should I test it with? Web browsing and telnet? and how do
I know if i should increase of decrease it to get statisfactory
perfermance for all the services?
