I think it would be the end of the world for me. :) As a long-time and satisfied mrxvt user, I'd hate to see mrxvt join the already crowded collection of GTK+-based terminals. Mrxvt would lose a huge part of what makes it special. I use the NeXT-style scrollbars, so I hope mrxvt keeps those. I've managed to survive without UTF-8 support, so that's more of a "nice to have" instead of a "must have" for me. To everyone who's worked on mrxvt, thanks for making the best terminal.
