-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Gautam,

However, the source line in .bash_profile was "source .bashrc" instead of "source ~/.bashrc" Best, Alex Lysenka -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHJPV2R+OWhEg1RV8RAvkxAJ92HPbU0qcYhl3fWgawAlBwpCF8rACfU6HS 2MOnwhfhePSK1YzZsbGc1hc= =YFRt -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- On 10/28/07, alkos333 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 > > Gautam, > > I tried both command sequences and was unable to reproduce the error message. > > Thanks for the profile hints. > > > Best, > Alex Lysenka > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) > > iD8DBQFHJOMwR+OWhEg1RV8RAjKiAJ9ZEKvm4s0WdLiQSURWECi+tCcsrQCfSxYM > +leUvbl7bz9Ty85JvpLptQg= > =GM4J > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- > > On 10/28/07, Gautam Iyer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > On Sun, Oct 28, 2007 at 12:47:43PM -0500, alkos333 wrote: > > > > > When I open a new tab and the current tab's pwd doesn't resolve to ~, > > > the new tab always shows: > > > > > > -bash: .bashrc: No such file or directory > > > > Hmm.
