Yes, it works fine. xsel is an alternative to wxpaste. I am in this
moment unable to bind it in my window manager (dwm), but this is definitely
off-topic here. Excellent general-purpose suggestion, would deserve more 
publicity (the
problem of urls in terminals is very very often raised).
