Wow, thanks for posting this. It fixed the problem for me. I have been using RDP from my home system to log into my work Windows desktop for years. I started using a mac at home last year, and that was working fine, too, until a couple of weeks ago when I started getting key repeats when working from home. At first, I was looking into the Mac or RDP to find the problem. I then realized I was getting this problem only on the xterm windows that were open on my desktop, not on Word, etc. It took me several googling attempts to find this post. But once I ran the xset command on the xserver on the PC desktop, the problem went away. Thanks!
