GI, I tried these different ideas and none worked. Paste works fine when the selection is inside the UNIX VPN session but not from outside (on the PC). And paste works fine from PC to UNIX VPN xterm. It is a specific issue with VNC and MRXVT.

Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+c to paste. Alternately play with the argument to the Paste macro. "Primary" or "Selection" might work...
