Ravi Sir,
As I informed in the phone, In your Dell computer has already dell
factory Ubuntu OS in the UEFI mode and it is not allowing to install our
custom kalpavriksha even in legacy support. So best solution for your
laptop is don't delete factory ubuntu and just install all the required
application from the software center or shell script file which I have
sent to your email id, but it will start to install each applications
from the Internet so you need good band width Internet connection.
If you want install any custom OS like Kalpavriksha in your computer,
the only method is you have delete all the factory recovery and OS
partition and then you have to install.
Please let me know if you need any technical help on this.
regards
Rakesh B

Dear ravikumar sir,
the problem is not in grub.. instead it may be in the bios mode of
laptop..
why cant you upgrade for ubuntu 16.04 which is latest LTS version
of ubuntu..
i suggest you to go to bios settings and find out bios mode
first... grub varies for each type of bios mode.
kalpravriksha supports only specific type of bios.. actually there
is no way to convert your present 14.04 to kalpravriksha
directly.. you have to reinstall it..
hope it helps..

Dear all,
I am having a laptop dell 3537 with Ubuntu 12.04 pre
installed. After software updates the laptop went in low
graphics mode. To get recovered the option I chosen was to
recover origin factory state from boot loader at the cost
of loosing all the applications loaded and my personal
files. After bringing the machine to factory state again
using update manager I could upgrade Ubuntu distribution
from 12.04 to 14.04 LTS which went smoothly.
Now I wish to install *Kalpavriksha* version ( /*Supplied
By I. T. For Change*/ ) of Ubuntu 14.04 along side already
installed Ubuntu 14.04
The problem is I do not know how to achieve it. So I
started Googling and found the following tutorials.
1. http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/grub.html This
Tutorial explains configuring Grub Legacy.
2. http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/grub-2.html This
tutorial explains configuring Grub-2.
My machine is with Grub version 2.02~beta2-9ubuntu1.11
All this I am able to do only because of immense support
rendered by Our Technical expert *RAKESH Sir*.
*[email protected] *
He had spent almost three hours helping me on mobile and
whatsapp. He generously had sent a copy of Kalpavruksha
DVD to me by courier.
Now the task ahead is how to install Kalpavruksha along
side installed OS securely as a back up. I have started
learning GRUB using above tutorials.
Mean while if you have any knowledge about know how please
share with me.
Thank you Rakesh Sir,
