Hi Samuel,
what do you mean with "mouse tracking"?
Do you just want to make sure that the viewer is able to see the mouse
while watching the video? Or do you want to have the mouse pointer
coordinates in a separate file?
We use the VGA2USB LR. It has a much better framerate and picture
quality because it does not interlace the vga-image. You should be able
to follow the mouse if you watch the video.
But make sure to change the matterhorn encoding settings too, because
currently the VGA-video is limited to 5fps to save bandwith. And I'm not
sure if you might better add the framerate to the capture agent config
too (see here for more dateils about this:

Hi,
Let me know if somebody could help me.
In my demos, I need video capture and mouse tracking (like captivate
software), but, it doesn’t happen with my VGA2USB board.
I have the screenshots, but, I don’t have the mouse tracking.
This board cannot do this? I have to buy a better one? Do you know a
board that can do this?
My capture agent is Pentium Dual Core, 2GB, 1TB, Ubuntu 9.10
Thanks in advance.
Samuel
