Whether you are running a Matterhorn pilot in 1 classroom, have
Matterhorn in production in 50 classrooms, or have adopted a strategy to
implement Matterhorn in an upcoming semester -- you are a Matterhorn
adopter. As a Matterhorn adopter, we invite you to put your institution
on the map at http://opencast.org/matterhorn-adopters.
Not only does this help you to connect with other adopters, but you'll
be helping potential future adopters who want to know how and where
Matterhorn is being used. In addition, adding yourself to the Adopters
list earns you voting privileges in the upcoming Opencast Board
elections (see http://opencast.org/opencast-board-nomination for some of
the details), which starts September 13th.
To add yourself to the adopter page, you first need an active account at
opencast.org. If you don't have one yet, please create one at
http://opencast.org/user/register. Approval is required for all new
accounts (apologies for this, due to a history of excessive spamming).
Once your account is active, login and go to
http://opencast.org/node/add/adopter-profile (link also available at the
top of the Adopters page).
When submitting your profile, be sure to select someone for "Primary
Representative" to be eligible for voting in the board elections. This
person needs to have an active account on the site, and will have voting
privileges for board elections. This person should have the appropriate
authority to represent the organization in matters regarding involvement
in the Opencast Community.
Please let me know if you have any questions or run into any
difficulties adding your institution's profile to the Adopters page.
Thanks!
Michelle
